Why it exists

Built by people who have used every tool it replaces.

The problems H2 Innovations solves are not theoretical. Pressure transmitters that need a RS-232 cable and a Windows XP laptop to configure. Flow computers that require a proprietary handheld that costs $4,000 and holds one charge. Calibration records kept on paper in a binder in a truck.

This is the day-to-day reality for field technicians across oil and gas, water treatment, manufacturing, and power generation. H2 Innovations is building the platform that changes it.

HARTHighway Addressable Remote Transducer. FSK 1200 baud over a 4-20mA loop. The dominant field instrument protocol, unchanged since 1986.

Modbus RTU/TCPThe most widely deployed industrial serial protocol. Every PLC, VFD, and meter speaks it. No two manufacturers implement the same register map.

DNP3 / ROC+SCADA-layer protocols used in pipeline, utilities, and remote well sites. Our internal tooling produces the client and server code from an accurate protocol specification.

Jordan Hicks

Red Seal certified instrument technician with 25 years in industrial automation, control systems, and enterprise software. Former business unit manager at Spartan Controls. Builds the firmware, protocol stacks, apps, edge controllers, and code generators across the H2 platform.
